Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy Statement
Sonoscanner SARL is committed to conducting business ethically, with integrity and in accordance with all applicable global laws and regulations in each country.
As a company we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour and child labour of any form.
We recognize our responsibility both as a manufacturer and distributor to identify, prevent and mitigate the risk of modern slavery within our own operations and throughout our supply chain.
As a medical technology company, we are committed to ensuring that our business practices reflect the highest standard of ethical conduct and respect for human rights.
To support this commitment Sonoscanner SARL will:
- Conduct business in a fair, honest and transparent manner
- Comply with the regulations of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all relevant global legislation
- Seek to work only with suppliers, contractors and business partners who share our commitment to ethical business practices and respect for human rights
- Expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable employment laws and prohibit the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour
- Encourage employees and suppliers to report any concerns regarding unethical business practices or suspected instances of modern slavery
- Investigate any reported concerns appropriately and take corrective action where necessary
- Review our policy periodically to ensure its continued effectiveness and relevance
- All employees of Sonoscanner SARL or respective subsidiary companies globally current or future will continue to monitor its practices and where appropriate strengthen procedures designed to minimise the risk of modern slavery occurring within the business or the supply chain.
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Sonoscanner SARL and is reviewed annually.
